Shortly afterwards, you'll use a tomato to jump high enough to continue. Behind some breakable rocks on a high platform (reach it with a tomato-jumper.)Ģ. The last three are red ride the first one down to reach this coin, floating in the air down the pit.ġ. Towards the end you will jump on a bunch of flowers. After riding a wind current to continue, check the right side of the rock/platform immediately afterwards it's a fake wall.ĥ. On a high platform use Brainy to jump up high enough.Ģ. After bouncing off a tomato to continue, check the right wall of the rock/platform just after the tomato itself (on the bottom level) it's a fake wall. Right after #2, up in the air surrounded by breakable rocks.ĥ. Below it you will see the coin you can access it from its right, since the wall on that side is fake.ģ.
After the encounter with the "frog", continue until you reach a Red crystal power-up. On a high platform, behind a wall of breakable rocks.Ģ. In the air, after a bunch of red flowers.ġ. When you see three red flowers, check the wall on the right of the third one: it's a fake wall ("ride" the flowers down to get to it.)ĥ. On a platform just after a Crown power-up.Ĥ. When you see two tomatoes down two pits, fall down to their level and check the rock between them to find a fake wall. In plain sight, just below a "bee" enemy early on.Ģ.
In plain sight above a white flower ("ride" the flower upwards.)Īfter completing this first stage you will unlock:Ĭomplete the first level. After a "line" of tomatoes down a pit, check on the right of the last tomato to reveal a fake wall. You can use Smurfette's float ability to reach it once the blocks are gone.Ĥ. Immediately after #2, but surrounded by blue blocks. In plain sight, above a tomato that you can use to jump to reach it.ģ. Smurf Coins that you've already collected will appear as "ghosty" (transparent) on your second playthroughs, and can be ignored (might as well pick them, anyway.) Level 1 - Enchanted ForestĢ. So if on your first run through a level you collect a certain Smurf Coin, you won't have to pick it up again later, since it's saved to your "collection". Lastly, in case you wonder, you don't need to pick up the Smurf Coins that you already obtained on your previous runs. Your second playthrough also allows you to instantly switch between your Smurfs during the game, which means that if for a certain Smurf Coin you'll need a specific character (some require Brainy, others require the characters capable of smashing the grey rocks such as Gutsy) you won't need to worry about selecting the "right Smurf" before starting the stage (because of course you can just switch to the right one when you need it, while playing the levels.) This is another good reason not to bother with coin collection for the first five Levels on your first playthrough. I won't mention the Blue blocks when describing the location of the coins.
As I stated in the Walkthrough overview page, the best thing to do is to leave the Smurf Coins for your second playthrough: you'll need to play Levels 1 to 5 again anyway, so there is no point in bothering to get them on your first run. The blocks will be automatically removed once you complete the fifth Level. Keep in mind that for most of the first stages you will not be able to get all the Smurf Coins on your first run, because of the "Blue blocks" that will not allow you to access them.
